Maria and John decided that they will celebrate their beautiful day, their wedding day on the Gold Coast. From a photographers point of view they are so easy to work with and we had so much fun with their engagement session. Maria and John decided to do their engagement photo shoot at Versace on the Gold Coast and it was a really good choice. The weather was perfect and we all had a great time and we also some Daiquiris.

Tanya and Chris Engagement Session

We had heaps of fun capturing Tanya and Chris’s engagement session in a nearby Gold Coast forest. Complete with a picnic blanket, pillows and balloons, we had fun trying something a little different with some props in their session.

Tanya and Chris are such a gorgeous couple on the Gold Coast it was impossible for them to not look good! They looked great with the beautiful natural surrounds of the forest and just as great in the industrial area nearby.

They were heaps of fun to photograph and we can’t wait for their wedding!

Nathan & Tajana Port Vila, Vanuatu Engagement Session

We met Tajana and Nathan a while ago and have been looking forward to their Vanuatu destination wedding all year! Vanuatu is a beautiful tropical island with lots of friendly people and a relaxed atmosphere. Because we flew over a week before the wedding from the gold coast for their wedding photography, we knew we just had to do an engagement session with them and lucky for us Tajana and Nathan were happy to take some time out before their big day to walk around Port Villa. Tajana and Nathan are such a lovely couple who are so full of fun and laughter. We had so much fun doing an engagement session with them and they both look fantastic in the photographs. A few days after we did this session we photographed their wedding at Le Lagon, it was such a wonderful day. Wedding images are coming soon!

Liezl + Shaun Powerhouse Brisbane Engagement Session

We are lucky enough to call Shaun and Liezl our friends, and if you know them, you’ll understand why we say lucky. Shaun and Liezl are two of the most lovely people you will ever meet, and we were absolutely thrilled when they asked us to photograph their wedding on Mount Tamborine just outside the Gold Coast.

Because they are such a gorgeous couple who are so obviously in love, we knew we just had to do an engagement session with them before their big day and we had our eyes on The Powerhouse in Brisbane for the session. It was a slightly rainy day but we used it to our advantage and got some awesome photographs with the rain.

Shaun and Liezl were so great and positive and up for anything, including standing in the rain to get the photograph! We had so much fun with them. Liezl is so sweet and full of laughter and brings a ray of sunshine into all the photos, and Shaun is cool, calm and collected, and loves Liezl so much he was willing to pose for photographs!

We attended and photographed their wedding last weekend. It was an absolutely beautiful and emotional day. Photographs of their wedding will be up on the blog soon! So keep an eye out! We are so so happy for them and so grateful that we were part of their big day!

Jeanine + Leigh Engagement Session at Heritage Park

Jeanine and Leigh’s engagement session was on a beautiful day at an awesome location, Heritage Park just outside the Gold Coast, that we didn’t even know about! When they suggested heritage park and described old buses and tractors we had no idea just how awesome the place would be. The whole place had such a great vintage feel to it. The engagement session was full of fun and relaxed, just like the couple who are full of love and laughter. Jeanine and Leigh also brought their two babies along; Nina and Maggie their adorable dachshund doggies! Jeanine is the sister of Evette and Michelle of whom we have been part of their special days. It is such an honour to come back to the same family every time a sister get’s married. Jeanine is the second last sister to get married and we are really looking forward to their beautiful day.

Jaylon and Lucy Engagement Photographs

Last weekend we had the pleasure of photographing an engagement session at Varsity Lakes on the Gold Coast for Jaylon and Lucy. They were the most adorable couple and even though they were a little nervous in the beginning they quickly became really comfortable in front of the camera. You could literally feel the love and they constantly had us saying “aww”.

For the first time as well as Photographing the session we also used video to create an absolutely stunning photographic and video fusion presentation. We will be updating the blog in the next few days with their photographs from the session.

Jonathan + Leeanna | Engagement Shoot | Sanctuary Cove Photographer

We met this wonderful couple a few months ago and we knew we will enjoy taking their images. They are so easy to work with it’s not even funny and the best thing is you can see they really love each other a lot! Our first plan was to use their boat with the engagement session but since the weather has been very unpredictable here on the Gold Coast we thought Sanctuary Cove will still offer the same sort of boating theme.
